New Patient Information
We understand that within the Flathead Valley there are many chiropractors that offer great services. We at Flathead Chiropractic perceive any potential patient as a chance to offer exceptional chiropractic care care at great a value for our neighbors in the Flathead Valley.
Our office is a welcoming, single chiropractic physician environment, with our goal being you and your health. Whether you just need a check up, rehabilitative care (from an accident), or you have symptoms related to a complex neurological case that will needs attention to detail, we are here for you.
Your First Visit
Your first visit will be approximately one hour and includes the following:
- Your health history review
- Orthopedic exam
- Basic neurological exam
- A report of findings (both a conservative option and extensive treatment option will be presented to you)
At that time, if warranted, treatment will be provided. You will also be given stretches and or exercises specific to your needs that you will do at home. We find that patients who participate in their care outside of our office often reduce the amount of treatment sessions needed.
If there are any concerns at the time of your examination that require additional imaging, laboratory investigation, or an extensive neurological workup, Dr. Borgardt will provide you with various options.
Check-Up Visits
After you have successfully completed your care plan (treatments plus home exercises), you will often be recommended subsequent check-up visits that are scheduled for between 20-40 minutes or so depending on the necessary treatment. During these visits Dr. Borgardt will review your health and answer any questions or concerns you might have. Chiropractic care advocacy and partnership helps support you through your life's goals and any new health concerns that may develop.
Payment Options
Value and cost effectiveness are part of our philosophy at Flathead Chiropractic. Once your treatment options have been presented, we will work with you to find the most cost effective program that fits your needs. Your treatment program will include chiropractic care and physiotherapy.
You can pay for your care directly with a health savings account, cash, check or debit/credit card. Please note: Major medical insurance is not accepted as we are out-of-network. We do accept auto accident cases where auto insurance is covering expenses or an attorney is working on your behalf to get the treatments covered another party. We do also accept Montana Worker's Compensation cases and will work with Montana State Fund on your behalf.
Imaging and/or laboratory options will be referred outside of our office (cost will not be included in our fee). We have thoughtfully negotiated cash-based solutions for diagnostic imaging or laboratories with our local hospitals for your convenience. We do offer x-ray imaging within our office that must be scheduled in advance and is NOT automatically done with your new patient exam.
